Is Quest of Legends a guided tour?

No. Every quest is self-guided, allowing you to begin when you are ready and explore at your own pace.

How many people can complete one quest?

One chest can be enjoyed by an individual, family or small group working together. For larger groups or competing teams, we recommend purchasing more than one quest.

What ages is it designed for?

The quests are designed to be enjoyed by families, teens and adults. Younger adventurers will generally need an adult’s help reading the riddles and navigating between locations.

What happens if we cannot solve a clue?

Each quest includes access to a series of optional hints. Begin with a small nudge and reveal additional help only when you need it.

Do we need to complete the quest all at once?

No. You can pause your adventure and return later, although most quests are designed to be completed during a single outing.

How long does each quest take?

Most quests are designed to take approximately 1-2 hours, though timing may vary depending on the route, your pace and how quickly you solve the riddles. Some adventures may take longer, and you are always welcome to pause and continue later.

Can we open the chest before completing the quest?

The chest remains locked until you discover the three-number code. The treasure is intended for adventurers who complete the quest.

Do we need a phone to complete the quest?

The riddles are designed to be solved by exploring the real locations rather than searching for answers online. However, you may need a phone to navigate between stops as well as access optional hints.

Where can I purchase a Quest of Legends adventure?

Quest of Legends adventures are available through participating Park City retailers, hotels and local partners. Visit the Find a Retailer page to see current locations.

Are the quests accessible for strollers or wheelchairs?

Accessibility varies by quest and route. Some adventures take place along paved streets, while others may involve stairs, uneven terrain, snow or mountain locations. Check the individual quest description before beginning.

Do we need tickets or admission to visit the locations?

Most locations can be viewed from public areas, but certain quests may require parking fees, resort access, a ski pass or other admission. Any special requirements will be clearly listed on the individual quest page.

Can we give a quest as a gift?
